What this rule checks

A workspace contains no semantic models or reports in the scanned catalog.

Everscope evaluates only the metadata needed for this deterministic check. It does not read dataset rows or values.

Why this is a risk

Unused workspaces increase administrative surface area and can obscure which environments remain governed.

In a governed environment this can weaken traceability, operational reliability, or the evidence available to reviewers and auditors.

How to resolve it

1. Confirm the workspace purpose and have an authorised administrator archive it manually when it is no longer required.
2. Validate the change with the accountable owner, rerun the same metadata scan, and retain the before-and-after evidence.
