What this rule checks

Multiple semantic models use the same name inside one workspace.

Everscope evaluates only the metadata needed for this deterministic check. It does not read dataset rows or values.

Why this is a risk

Duplicate names make lineage, ownership, and audit evidence ambiguous.

In a governed environment this can weaken traceability, operational reliability, or the evidence available to reviewers and auditors.

How to resolve it

1. Assign unique, recognisable names and update documented references through the normal change process.
2. Validate the change with the accountable owner, rerun the same metadata scan, and retain the before-and-after evidence.
