Why this is a risk

Bidirectional propagation can create ambiguous paths and unexpected results.

In a governed environment this can weaken traceability, operational reliability, or the evidence available to reviewers and auditors.

How to resolve it

1. Confirm both directions are required, validate totals, and document the approved reason.
2. Validate the change with the accountable owner, rerun the same metadata scan, and retain the before-and-after evidence.
