A governed asset has no accountable owner recorded in its metadata.

Everscope evaluates only the metadata needed for this deterministic check. It does not read dataset rows or values.

Why this is a risk

Approvals, exceptions, and remediation cannot be attributed reliably when ownership is absent.

In a governed environment this can weaken traceability, operational reliability, or the evidence available to reviewers and auditors.

How to resolve it

1. Assign and verify an accountable business owner through the governance workflow.
2. Validate the change with the accountable owner, rerun the same metadata scan, and retain the before-and-after evidence.
