What this rule checks

A column is used structurally but not directly by an uploaded report.

Everscope evaluates only the metadata needed for this deterministic check. It does not read dataset rows or values.

Why this is a risk

Removing a structural column can break relationships, sorting, RLS, hierarchies, or field parameters.

In a governed environment this can weaken traceability, operational reliability, or the evidence available to reviewers and auditors.

How to resolve it

1. Retain it until full structural and external dependency evidence has been reviewed.
2. Validate the change with the accountable owner, rerun the same metadata scan, and retain the before-and-after evidence.
