What this rule checks

A measure is referenced by another used object but not directly by a report.

Everscope evaluates only the metadata needed for this deterministic check. It does not read dataset rows or values.

Why this is a risk

Changing an indirect dependency can alter downstream measures even when no visual references it directly.

In a governed environment this can weaken traceability, operational reliability, or the evidence available to reviewers and auditors.

How to resolve it

1. Perform impact analysis and validate all dependent calculations before changing it.
2. Validate the change with the accountable owner, rerun the same metadata scan, and retain the before-and-after evidence.
